Cookie Policy
This page lists the cookies and similar local-storage entries Goaipulse sets when you visit goaipulse.com to recharge a Salik tag or send a UAE prepaid recharge. It also explains what choices you have over them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored in your browser by a website. It lets the site remember things between page loads — for example whether you have already accepted the cookie banner. Some entries are technically stored in localStorage rather than as classic cookies, but for the purposes of this policy we treat them the same way.
2. Cookies we set
Strictly necessary
- gap_session — keeps you signed in to a Goaipulse account during a top-up session. Lifetime: until you close the browser.
- gap_csrf — protects every form submission against cross-site request forgery. Lifetime: session only.
- gap_cookie_choice — remembers your response to the cookie banner so we do not show it again. Lifetime: twelve months.
Functional
- gap_lang — stores your preferred display language (English or Arabic). Lifetime: twelve months.
- gap_last_service — remembers whether you most recently topped up Salik, Etisalat, du or Virgin Mobile so the form opens to that service. Lifetime: ninety days.
Analytics
- gap_ga — anonymised, first-party analytics. Tracks aggregate page-view counts and approximate session length. Lifetime: thirteen months. Disabled if you decline the analytics layer in the cookie banner.
3. Cookies we do not set
We do not run third-party advertising, retargeting or social-media pixels on Goaipulse. The only network requests sent outside goaipulse.com are to our payment processor (during the checkout step) and to Google Fonts for typography.
4. Managing your preferences
You can withdraw consent at any time:
- Clear cookies for goaipulse.com in your browser settings. The cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.
- Decline analytics from the banner — strictly necessary cookies will still be set because they are required for the site to function.
- Use private/incognito browsing if you prefer that no preference is retained between sessions.

6. Updates to this policy
When we add or remove cookies we will revise this page and update the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced via the cookie banner so you can opt in again.
